I have decided, I miss the days of sleeping straight through the night. The days of not having to have a pillow between my knees to keep me from getting up every half hour to up-chuck. The days of not tossing and turning, while trying to keep the pillow between my knees. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to sleep for even 2 hours straight? Oh, those days seem so long ago (even though it's only been about a month ago). Technically, I only have just a little over 3 weeks left of the first trimester, which is when all the ickies of pregnancy are supposed to go away for a few weeks (before entering the third trimester, which is always a blast ;)).
However, I have decided, getting pregnant around January/February time is about the best time. You're stuck in the house anyway, cuz it's so cold/snowy/rainy, etc. outside. So, it doesn't really make a difference if ur stuck in ur bed all day. What else would u do anyway? And then, when it starts to warm up, and get nice outside, you enter your second trimester, which is the best trimester of pregnancy. So, you get to go outside, and use up all that new energy boost u got with pregnancy. And ur not too huge to be totally uncomfortable in the heat. And then, as you enter the final uncomfortable, huge stage of pregnancy, it starts to cool down again, and it feels comfortable. It's amazing more mom's don't have November babies. I mean, how much better can you time your trimesters?

You, my dear, are the eternal optimist.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with you Tambi! :) November is an awesome time for babies to be born. Sorry you have been so sick- I am hoping that is almost behind you and you can enjoy the second trimester. :)
