Our Kumquat

Actually, I have no idea what a kumquat is. But apparently, that is the size of our new resident who will be residing in me until about November 7th. Our little one has grown DRASTICALLY in the short 10 weeks he/she has been in me. It's amazing how in 10 weeks, he/she already has all their organs, and is just going to be spending the rest of the time fine tuning those organs, and gaining weight.

Fortunately he/she no longer has webbed fingers and toes. They look like a little person. And what a cute little person they are:

I know these things are REALLY hard to tell what's what. But, you see that black bean shaped area with the white blob in it? That cute white blob is our growing baby. see, told u he/she's adorable :).

Also, so that I don't fall into calling our baby "it" or have to keep putting "he/she" I am going to figure out a generic name to call them until we find out the gender. Yes everyone, we will be finding out the gender for this one. And, you can put me on record for saying, I think it's a girl. I may be very wrong, but that's just what I think. We'll find out in a couple months :)

And, for those who are going to ask how I'm feeling...I am sick ALL day EVERY day! I never get a break from it. I did get these Queasy Drops that have been a total lifesaver for me. When I start to feel icky, I pop on ein my mouth, and it works pretty great. Granted, I do have to take them like every 2-4 hours, but at least I'm not puking anymore.

  2. Hooray!!!!! Congratulations (and so so sorry you're sick) I can't wait for the "in the meantime" name - I like that idea because I hate calling it "it". :)

Keep up the drops, and I hope you feel better soon - in theory it's just a few more weeks. :)
