It MUST be Spring-ish time!

This weather is rather tricky. One day it's warm, and the next, it's snowing. However, it is not tricky enough for my boys! They know it's spring, and they definitely have spring fever. They are SO ready to get out of the house, and do so every chance they get (When daddy is home, cuz mommy can't quite do stairs yet). And today, we had our first "It is DEFINITELY spring in the Wunderly house" event. While I was working, my boys (all 3 of them) were working in the garage, trying to de-junk. Our little daredevil, Brock, decided to try and escape. He went running down our driveway. For those who have not seen our driveway, or didn't realize, our drive way is quite steep. It is steep enough that when there is snow, we can't get my car up the driveway without first shoveling the snow off. So, as Brock went running down, Erek sent Braedyn after him. When Braedyn touched Brock, they both tumbled down. And, of course, since he is a Wunderly, Brock has a nice scratch around his eye to prove it. It looks quite painful. very red, and a bit swollen. His nose was bleeding when he first fell, but Erek quickly took care of it, as bloody noses definitely are not a new thing in our house. So, Welcome to Spring in the Wunderly house. I am sure there are many more bumps and bruises to come in the months ahead. This is only the beginning.

In other news, I can walk!!!! Well, sorta. Today at physical therapy they added more weight to some of the exercises I do, and incresed the amount of time I do each of the exercises. They also added a new exercise...walking on the treadmill!!!! As you may recall, I was supposed to do the treadmill last week, but it was broken. Well, it still is, but they have another treadmill, like from the 70's, so super old (for a treadmill). And they decided to have me try that one. So they strapped this monstrous belt thing on me, wrapped it around, and held me up. Then they had me hold onto these 2 little handle bar things in the front, and go for it. When they strated it, it was way too fast, I almost fell on my face. He hit the down arrow a couple of times, and I was finally at a comfortable pace...1.0 miles per hour!!!! YAY!!!! I know, I was cruisin'! And I did that pace for a minute and a half before my legs collapsed on me. YAY ME!!! I was super excited. My goal for next time is to go for at least 2 minutes, and possibly 1.1 miles per hour! Or even faster if they'll let me :)
