J.E.L.L-O

It's ok, I know ur singing the jell-o song (if you wanna call it a song) after reading that title. :) And after the last 2 days, that is the only word I can think of to describe the way my legs currently feel, and it's GREAT!

Yesterday I made a HUGE stride in getting better. My physical therapist had me walking WITHOUT the walker! That's right! And I didn't fall! Now, of course he was holding me up with this humongo belt he wrapped around me like 5 times, and when I would start to lean, he would catch me. But that's not the point. The point is, I walked in circles around the office 3 times. Now, my walking was a little robotic, and a couple of the other therapists couldn't stop laughing, but at least it's progress :D. The therapy session lasted for 2 hours! No breaks! Just continuous working my legs and arms. After that I had to drive to my parents house. I was so glad they only live a block away. I got to their house, and just collapsed!

Don't worry, my story doesn't stop there. Today when I got off work, I was at my parents (since I couldn't drive home last night) and I walked from the living room to the kitchen, rested a couple minutes, and walked back, all by myself, WITHOUT the walker! I about fell a couple times, and it felt WAY weird, but I still did it. After that my legs were pretty much done. However, I still gathered the strength to drive the 30 some odd miles home. Now, I am home, and my legs are jell-o. I am guessing 2 days of pushing myself may not have been the best idea, but I am sure I will be all better in the morning, after a good night's sleep. And...I'M WALKING so how could I possibly complain about that!
