Baby Weight

I had another one of my monthly baby doc visits today. Most of these visits are pretty quick. I never really have any questions, so they come in, check the heart rate, make sure I'm growing, and the end. And I pay $85 stinkin bucks for each of these visits?!?!?!?! Granted, they are definitely worth going to make sure baby is okay, but still....

So, today they did the nasty gestational diabetes test. That drink is so nasty! I actually almost puked it up, then I had a little talk with Dallen, saying we can't puke it up or we would just have to do it again. He decided to let me keep it down. Such a smart baby :)

The only thing that sucks is when they take my weight. I feel like I'm HUGE!!! (granted u can't tell I'm pregnant if I'm wearing a t-shirt, but still). So, they took my weight, and in the past 3.5 weeks I have gaineda total of 1 pound. In fact, every visit I have gained an average of 1 pound between each visit. Do u remember my pregnancy with Braedyn? When I gained 53 pounds durng the pregnancy?!?!?! Well, this one is SO not like that. The dr. asked if I'm eating good, if I eat 6 small, healthy meals a day. I told him I eat at least 6 meals, and I think they're pretty healthy. I'm considering the occasional twinkie for breakfast as healthy. He said baby seems healthy, and he's kicking, so I'm fine. He's just completely in my back, so I look small. However, if I dn' gain more than a pound between this visit and the next one, they may start worrying, and looking closer at my eating habits, and taking another look at Dallen. So, time to stuff this baby so he grows big and strong, so I can get past the "fat" stage of pregnancy, and actually look pregnant :)
